All training classes, unless otherwise noted, are held at the Dominic Lametta training center, located in Calf Pasture Beach Park in South Norwalk, CT. Directions are as follows
(a map follows written directions):
Approach Norwalk on I 95. Get off on exit 16, and head south:
If going north/east on I95, turn right at the end of the exit.
If going south/west turn left at the end of the exit.
Go south on East Ave. until you pass under the railroad bridge and into East Norwalk. The "Town Square" in East Norwalk is a cemetery. Go to the end of the cemetery and turn left, immediately get into the right lane and turn right onto Gregory Blvd (First Union Bank is on the right as you do this).
Go south on Gregory Blvd. until you come to a circle with a monument on it. Turn left and, again, immediately get into the right lane and turn right onto Calf Pasture Beach Road (tennis courts will be on the right as you do this).
Calf Pasture Beach Road will lead you directly into the Park.
Security guards may stop you at the entrance to the Park. Tell them that you are attending a Coast Guard Auxiliary function at the base (if you don't, they will charge you for admission
into the park). Follow the road around until you come to the first building on the right - this is the Training Center. Park where you can, but leave the drive open. Telephone (203) 838-1200.
